Pot magnets are strong magnets which can produce a magnetic field on
its exclusive surface. These magnets are known for their strength and
durability and are available in different sizes and shapes. Apart from
popular categories there are different types of other categories of pot
magnets which are as follows:
- Stainless Steel Pot Magnets
Stainless steel pot magnets are known for their strength and
applicability. They are workable up to a temperature of 200°C.
The heating of magnets up to this temperature results in the
temporary decrease of magnetic power which however gets restored as
the magnets are cooled at the room temperature. The magnetic field
of the pot magnets are also screened off by placing the pot magnets
in the stainless steel pot. The limited interior dimensions of the
magnets offer structural advantages.
- Plated Pot Magnets
Plated pot magnets are demanded highly due to their inexpensiveness
and versatility. They are available in various designs and
configuration and are meant for various applications. The plated
magnets are of different types like magnets with counter sunk
through holes, magnets with plain through holes, magnets with
threaded rear mounting collars, magnets with steel center pole etc.
They are applicable at high temperature that is around 200° C.
Normally these magnets contain chrome plated shells and anisotropic
ferrite magnets which are ideal for exhibition stands and marketing
displays.
